Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files or pieces of information that a website sends to the user's browser and stores on their device. They allow the website to remember information about your visit —such as your language or theme preferences— in order to offer a faster, more personalised experience and to obtain usage statistics. Cookies can only be read by the site that created them and, as a general rule, do not contain information that directly identifies you.
This Cookie Policy is drawn up in accordance with Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), and the European ePrivacy Directive.
2. Classification by purpose
Based on the purpose for which they are used, at LAVORA we distinguish:
- Technical (essential): necessary for the correct functioning of the site. They do not require consent, since without them some features would not be available.
- Preference: remember your choices to personalise the experience, such as the visual theme selected or your decision regarding cookie consent. They also do not require express consent.
- Analytics: allow quantifying the number of users and analysing how they use the site. At LAVORA they are processed anonymously and require express consent from the user.
At LAVORA no advertising or profiling cookies are used: we do not display third-party advertising or create profiles for commercial purposes.
3. Classification by duration
- Session cookies: deleted when the browser is closed and used to remember information during a single visit.
- Persistent cookies: remain on the device for a determined period, facilitating a continuous experience between visits.
4. Cookies used on this site
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| theme | Technical | Remembers your theme preference (light/dark) | 1 year | Not required |
| cookie_consent | Preference | Remembers your choice regarding cookie consent | 6 months | Not required |
| ph_* | Analytics | PostHog: pages visited, anonymous session and audience (self-hosted) | Session + 1 year | Required |
5. Cookie consent
Technical and preference cookies are installed automatically, as they are essential for the functioning of the site or do not require consent under the regulations.
Analytics cookies (PostHog) require your express consent. Upon first accessing the site, a banner is displayed from which you can accept all cookies, accept only essential ones or configure your choice by enabling or disabling analytics. Your decision is remembered for 6 months.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can configure your browser to accept, block or delete cookies installed on your device. Keep in mind that blocking technical cookies may affect the functioning of the site. Check your browser's official help for more information:
7. Updates to this policy
LAVORA reserves the right to modify this Cookie Policy to adapt it to new cookies,
changes in the services provided or regulatory developments. The date of the last
modification of the consent given by the user is recorded in the
cookie_consent cookie.
